Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Security Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a faculty affiliate of the International Security Studies Program. My work focuses on nuclear weapons, arms control, deterrence, and the U.S.-China security relationship.

Previously, I was Assistant Professor of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Naval War College, a Stanton Nuclear Security Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Security Studies Program and a Fellow and Director of the Strategic Education Initiative at the Princeton University Center for International Security Studies.

I hold a Ph.D., M.A., and M.P.A. from Princeton University and a B.A. from Grinnell College.
